Baldridge Web Dev is the portfolio and freelance web development business of Jenifer Baldridge. This policy explains what information this website collects, why it is used, and the choices you have about your information.

Who is responsible for your information

Jenifer Baldridge operates Baldridge Web Dev from Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to baldridgewebdev@gmail.com.

Information collected

Information you choose to provide

When you use the project inquiry form, you may provide your name, email address, company or website address, budget range, timeline, and any project details you include in your message. If you contact me directly by email, I receive your email address and the information in your message.

If you schedule a call through the Calendly booking tool, Calendly may collect information such as your name, email address, time zone, selected meeting time, and anything else you enter into the scheduling form.

Please do not send passwords, payment card details, health information, government identification numbers, or other sensitive personal information through the inquiry form or ordinary email.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, this site and its hosting provider may record basic technical information in server logs. This can include your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, requested pages, referring page, and the date and time of a request. This information is used to deliver the site, maintain reliability, diagnose problems, and protect the site from abuse.

This site loads PT Sans Narrow through Google Fonts. When your browser requests the font, Google receives technical request information including your IP address, the requested URL, browser and operating system information, and the referring page. Google states that Google Fonts does not set cookies and does not use this information to create user profiles or for targeted advertising. You can read the Google Fonts privacy FAQ.

How information is used

• To respond to questions and project inquiries.
• To evaluate whether a project is a good fit and prepare estimates or proposals.
• To schedule and conduct meetings.
• To provide services when we decide to work together.
• To maintain, troubleshoot, and secure the website.
• To keep business records and meet legal, accounting, or tax obligations.

I do not add inquiry information to a marketing list unless you separately ask to receive marketing messages. I do not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Service providers and sharing

Information is shared only when needed to operate the site, communicate with you, provide requested services, or comply with the law. The website currently uses the following providers:

• Formspree processes project inquiry submissions, filters spam, stores submissions in its inbox, and sends email notifications. Read the Formspree Privacy Policy.
• Calendly provides the embedded meeting scheduler and processes scheduling information on my behalf. Read the Calendly Privacy Notice.
• Google provides Google Fonts and the email service used to receive and respond to inquiries. Read the Google Privacy Policy.
• Website hosting providers store website files and may process server logs and security information needed to host and protect the site.

I may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with a law, subpoena, court order, or other valid legal process; protect the rights, safety, or property of Baldridge Web Dev or another person; investigate fraud or misuse; or establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim. If the business or its assets are transferred, relevant business records may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

Cookies and tracking

As of the effective date above, this site does not use visitor analytics, advertising pixels, or behavioral advertising cookies. The public site does not offer visitor accounts, public comments, or file uploads.

WordPress may use essential cookies for logged-in site administrators. The embedded Calendly scheduler may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies under Calendly’s own privacy notice and regional consent settings. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, although doing so may affect the scheduling tool.

How long information is kept

Inquiry and scheduling information is kept only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, evaluate a project, maintain an appropriate business record, and handle follow-up questions. If we work together, relevant communications and project records may be retained for the duration of the relationship and afterward as needed for contracts, support, accounting, tax, dispute resolution, and other legal obligations. Technical logs are generally retained according to the hosting provider’s operational and security practices.

Security

I use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate for a small professional website. No website, email system, or method of internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure, so please use care when deciding what information to send.

Your choices and privacy rights

You may ask what personal information I hold about you, request a correction, or ask for deletion by emailing baldridgewebdev@gmail.com. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, receive a copy of, restrict, object to, or withdraw consent for certain processing of your personal information.

I may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Some information may be retained when required by law or when reasonably necessary for security, contracts, accounting, dispute resolution, or legal claims. For information held by Calendly or Formspree under their own control, you may also need to contact that provider directly.

International visitors

Baldridge Web Dev is based in the United States. If you visit from another country, your information may be processed in the United States and in other locations where the service providers listed above operate. Privacy laws in those locations may differ from the laws where you live.

Children’s privacy

This website is intended for businesses and adults seeking professional web development services. It is not directed to children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this site, please contact me so it can be deleted.

External links

This website links to external sites such as GitHub and client websites. Their privacy practices are controlled by their respective operators. This policy applies only to Baldridge Web Dev and the information processed on its behalf.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the website, service providers, or legal requirements change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
