I’ve been fascinated by web development since high school, where I not only learned to code but also volunteered to teach others and took on projects to support my local community. What began as curiosity quickly grew into a passion for building tools that help people do their jobs better and creating websites that connect ideas, businesses, and communities. Over the years, that passion has developed into a full-fledged career spanning agency work, freelance projects, and large-scale client solutions.
As a full-stack developer, I specialize in custom WordPress and CMS builds, API integrations, and scalable business solutions that make complex systems more efficient. I’m equally comfortable fine-tuning the back end of a LAMP stack as I am polishing the front end with responsive, accessible design. Life outside of coding is equally full and rewarding. I’m a parent of four girls, ages 10, 7, 3, and 1, who keep me on my toes and remind me daily of the importance of patience, adaptability, and creativity. Interestingly, each of them has already shown an interest in technology, which makes for some fun “coding club” moments at home. Balancing a demanding career and a full family life has sharpened my ability to prioritize, stay organized, and lead with empathy. Skills that I carry into my professional work as well.
Outside of work, I recharge by hiking and exploring the outdoors, which keeps me grounded and curious about the world around me. I also enjoy working on personal projects; building small games, experimenting with new web ideas, and creating art. These pursuits let me combine creativity with technical problem-solving, and they often spark ideas I later bring into professional projects.
