Good-cause service discount
20% off every service for good causes.
Approved community projects, mutual-aid efforts, nonprofits, and other good causes receive 20% off any professional service I offer. This is a standalone offer with its own application and approval process.
The offer
One discount across my full service catalog.
Once a cause is approved, the 20% discount applies to my professional fees for any service I currently offer. It is not limited to website builds.
The discount can support a focused consultation, an urgent repair, a complete build, a migration, ongoing maintenance, or something unusual that needs a custom approach.
Who may qualify
Projects serving people or communities.
- Community-led projects and neighborhood efforts
- Mutual-aid groups and direct-support efforts
- Registered nonprofits and charitable programs
- Educational, arts, accessibility, and public-resource projects
- Other good causes considered individually
Formal nonprofit status is welcome but is not required. The work, public benefit, and people behind it matter more than a particular tax designation.
What is not eligible
No candidate or party campaigning.
The discount is not available for supporting or opposing a political candidate, elected official, political party, PAC, campaign, or election outcome.
Many legitimate causes involve public policy, civil rights, or issues that people describe as political. That alone does not disqualify a project.
How the discount works
Clear scope, clear savings.
The approved discount is documented in a written estimate or service agreement before work begins.
20% off my professional fees for project work, hourly work, consultations, and recurring services.
The discount applies to estimates and agreements created after the cause is approved. It is not retroactive.
Hosting, domains, licenses, paid third-party tools, vendor charges, and other pass-through expenses are not discounted.
The discount cannot be combined with another promotion unless the written estimate says otherwise.
How approval works
Every cause is reviewed individually.
Submitting an application does not guarantee approval, availability, or acceptance of a particular engagement. I may approve, decline, request more information, or wait-list an application at my discretion.
Cause and benefit
Who the work helps and what meaningful public or community benefit it provides.
People and readiness
Whether there is a responsible contact who can provide information, feedback, and approvals.
Safety and alignment
Whether the cause and requested work are appropriate, lawful, and safe for everyone involved.
Capacity and fit
Whether a requested engagement fits my skills, schedule, availability, and current commitments.
Common questions
Before you apply.
Do we need to be a 501(c)(3)?
No. Registered nonprofits can apply, but community projects, mutual-aid efforts, and informal groups may also qualify.
Is the discount limited to websites?
No. It applies to every service I offer, including support, audits, consultation, development, automation, migration, and interactive work.
Does approval guarantee availability?
No. Approval establishes discount eligibility. Each engagement still depends on scope, timing, fit, and a written agreement.
Can I nominate another cause?
Yes. The application accepts nominations and asks for a public or permission-based way for me to contact the cause directly.
